Tequila Sunset Jello Shots Recipe

Quick and easy jello shots with tequila that taste super yummy and look amazing.
Equipment
- saucepan
- whisk
- shot glasses or disposable condiment cups with lids
Ingredients
- 4 oz tequila
- 8 oz hot water
- 3 oz orange jello
- ½ cup orange juice
- splash of grenadine
Instructions
- Boil water and add jello. Stir until dissolved. Let sit to cool.
- Once cooled, add tequila and orange juice. Stir to combine.
- Pour into shot glasses, leaving a little bit of room for a splash of grenadine.
- Add a splash of grenadine (as much as desired) to each jello shot. The grenadine will sink to the bottom of the jello shot.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours to set.
- Garnish with whipped cream, an orange wedge or a maraschino cherry.
Notes
- Use disposable condiment cups or disposable shot glasses for easy cleanup.
- Substitute your favorite alcohol for tequila, if you prefer.
- Do not add alcohol to the pot in the first step.
