Prevent your screen from going dark
Preheat convection oven to 350°F.
Rinse and pat chicken dry with a paper towel.
Rub olive oil all over the chicken.
In a small bowl, combine all the spices. Then, gently rub the spices all over the chicken.
Place the chicken into a roasting pan or baking sheet with a baking rack on it. Place into the center of the convection oven.
Bake for 1 hour. Check the internal temperature of the chicken. It should reach 165°F.
Cook until chicken is fully cooked. It should take about 60-80 minutes. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- If your chicken begins to brown too much, gently tent it with aluminum foil to prevent the skin from burning.
- Cooking times will vary depending on the size of the chicken.
- For more flavorful chicken meat, gently lift the chicken skin up and rub the spices under the skin on the chicken breast.
- Cooking the chicken at a higher temperature will result in a dryer chicken meat.
