Ingredients
3tablespoonlow sodium soy sauce
2tablespoonbrown sugar
3tablespoonolive oil
1tablespoonwhole grain mustard
¼teaspoonpaprika
¼-½teaspooncayenne pepper
⅛teaspoondried oregano
⅛teaspoondried thyme
⅛teaspoononion powder
⅛teaspoonkosher salt
⅛teaspoonfreshly ground black pepper
2clovesof garlicminced
2tablespoonbutter
1lbshrimp peeled and deveined
Garnish:
sliced green onions
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except butter and shrimp. Mix to combine.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Then add sauce and cook for 2 minutes, stirring continually.
Add shrimp and toss all the ingredients to coat the shrimp.
Cook shrimp for 4-5 minutes, stirring and flipping so all sides are cooked. Flip shrimp after about 2 minutes. Shrimp are curled and opaque when cooked through.
Serve over rice or noodles with sliced green onions.
Notes
Shrimp is cooked when it is pink and curls up.
If you’re in a rush you can put the shrimp into the skillet at the same time as the other ingredients.
