Air Fryer Pasta Chips Recipe

These viral tiktok pasta chips are made in the air fryer and come out crunchy and super yummy. These cheesy, crunchy pasta chips make the perfect snack!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz ziti pasta cooked
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil divided
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic minced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Toss pasta with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until well coated.

  • Working in batches, spread a single layer of pasta in the basket of your air fryer.  Be sure there is space between each noodle and avoid overcrowding.

  • Cook at 400° for about 8 minutes until noodles are beginning to blister and just lightly golden brown.

  • While the pasta is cooking, mix together the remaining olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Drizzle the olive oil mixture over the blistered pasta and toss (in the air fryer basket).  Cook for 2-3 minutes longer until the pasta is golden brown.

  • Toss cooked pasta chips with the parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

Notes

  • The pasta takes much longer to cook and does not cook up into crispy pieces if you overcrowd the air fryer basket.  If you cook it in batches, be sure to divide the olive oil/garlic/seasoning mixture also so that you have enough to toss with each batch as you are cooking.
