In a large crockpot, layer broth, beans, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, thyme and bay leaf. Stir to combine.
Submerge the ham bone in the broth and beans. Cover and cook on high until the beans are tender, about 6-8 hours.
Remove the lid and discard the bay leaf. Remove ham bone and let sit until cool for a moment.
Once cool enough to handle, dice any ham meat and stir it into the bean soup.
Season soup with additional salt and pepper, to taste. Ladle into bowls and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve.
