Ingredients
8ozcream cheese softened
½cup unsalted buttersoftened
⅓cuplight brown sugarpacked
⅓cupgranulated sugar
1teaspoonvanilla extract
pinch of salt
1cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Using a stand mixer or hand mixer, cream together the cream cheese, butter, sugars, vanilla, and salt until fluffy. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl and rebeat to make sure all ingredients are incorporated.
Fold in or carefully mix in the chocolate chips.
Transfer to a serving dish and serve with cookies, crackers or fresh fruit.
Notes
Cream cheese and butter should be almost room temperature to make sure they blend smoothly.
You can add other add-ins to your cookie dough dip, such as white or milk chocolate chips, toffee bits, peanut butter chips or mini M&Ms.
