Million Dollar Dip Recipe

Amazingly flavorful dip full of yummy cheese, crispy bacon and crunchy almonds.

Equipment

  • large mixing bowl
  • cooking spoon or spatula

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 6 oz cheddar cheese grated, about 1½ cups
  • ½ cup green onions diced
  • ¾ cup slivered almonds toasted
  • ½ cup bacon crumbles

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine all dip ingredients, reserving a few of the dry ingredients to garnish the top of the dip, if you wish.

  • Stir together until well mixed.

  • Store in an airtight container until ready to use - garnish with some almonds, bacon bits, and green onions.
  • Serve with butter crackers such as Ritz.

Notes

    • For best results, use freshly grated cheese instead of pre-grated. That way you avoid additives and just get amazing cheese flavor.
    • Make sure to use real cooked and crumbled bacon instead of bacon bits for this party dip.
    • Keep your million dollar dip in the fridge just until serving, to make sure this party favorite stays food safe.
    • Do not leave dip out of the refrigerator for more than 1 hour. The mayonnaise will not keep.
  • Note: The million dollar dip is sometimes known as the Neiman Marcus dip.
