Fresh Green Beans In Air Fryer

These easy to make and flavorful green beens are ready in no time and are a great addition to any meal.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 12-16 oz fresh green beans
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon coarse salt

Instructions

  • Wash and trim green beans.

  • Toss green beans with oil, garlic powder, pepper, onion powder and salt.

  • Place green beans in the air fryer basket.

  • Cook at 370ºF for 7-8 minutes, tossing once or twice to turn them during cooking.

  • Remove from the air fryer. Toss and serve.

Notes

Do not use frozen green beans for this recipe. 
 
 
When green beans are done cooking, try tossing with ½ teaspoon of fresh lemon juice or some freshly grated parmesan cheese. 
 
 
Use an oil that can be cooked at high heat. We like cooking with avocado oil. 
 
 
For crisper green beans, cook for a longer time. 
 
 
If you double the recipe you will need to make sure you toss the beans every 5 minutes until they are done to avoid overcooking. They will need to cook a little longer if the air fryer basket is crowded. 
 
Use your favorite seasonings. Try chili powder, turmeric, cumin, curry powder, parsley or anything you like. If you use fresh garlic, don't add it until the last 2-3 minutes of cooking.
