SAUTÉ AND SEAR: On the sauté setting of your Instant Pot, sauté onions and garlic for a couple of minutes, then and the beef cubes and sear for a minute. COMBINE: Add beef broth, wine, Worcestershire sauce, mushrooms, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and stir to combine. This will help the beef get a nice brown outside. ✔️ Do not sear beef for long enough to cook it through! Just a minute on each side is good. ✔️ Don’t skip the cornstarch slurry.
